More than a cliche. : #Ukrainianbreakfast

From today I'll write more about difference between breakfast photos in different countries. And the first country to write about would be Ukraine.

How I said before, Ukraine is biggest country Europe. Now, when you know this fact, we can learn more about its culture and art, which is best shown in cliche instagram breakfast photos.

Ukrainian breakfasts has a rich history. On each national cuisine affects a type of the place where food is prepared. In Ukraine, such place was an oven, so-called "closed type fireplace" or “varista pіch” in Ukrainian. Therefore, Ukrainian cuisine mainly uses the techniques of boiling, stewing and baking.
Also, because of its geographical location. vegetables and berries play really important part in menu of this country.

On it you can see typical Ukrainian breakfast - varenyky, stuffed dumpling, made of unleavened dough and boiled in the water. You can stuffed varenyky with almost anything - it could be mashed potato, cottage cheese, cherries or redcurrant, like on photo ovearhead.

Quark or cottage cheese is another thing, that Ukrainians eat a lot.

Here is syrniki - fried quark pancakes. I mentioned this dish before, in my second post. Syrniki is also popular in Russia and Belarus. You can it them with sour cream, jam, sugar or honey.

And of course, like people all over the world, Ukrainians sometimes eat normal human food.
